Bespoke Splatter Design Jesmonite Frame in Colours of your Choice!
Unique picture frames handcrafted in jesmonite with a smooth, stone-like finish.
Select this option for a bespoke splatter design frame in colours of your choice.
When casting, I often end up with a little bit of extra jesmonite mix in my mixing buckets after pouring into moulds so I started splatting the surplus wet mix into fresh moulds, building up layers of different colours over time. The resulting splatter design makes for a much brighter and louder impression than my block colour and terrazzo style options.
This bespoke option allows you to pick the colours I splat into the mould. Just email across 2 - 4 colours of your choice to davidmcdiarmidstudio@gmail.com after making your order and if you have example images of the colour(s) to attach - even better!My placemats are made with a special marble effect jesmonite which I then cast in a specially made mould.
Each frame is then sanded and polished to a nice sheen and fitted with cork pads to prevent scratching your walls. L-hooks for hanging are provided along with instructions for how to hang
The frames are designed specifically to fit our Food Paintings however will fit any artworks that measure either 125mm x 125mm (for square frames) or 225mm x 150mm (for rectangle frames).
If you have ordered one of our food paintings before, you can order one of these frames to fit your painting. Please note, these frames do not fit paintings from my 40 Oranges painting series.
