For the terrazzo design I collect and recycle leftover cured jesmonite pieces salvaged from previous casting jobs. I break these pieces down into little crumbs which are then added into fresh batches of white jesmonite mix and poured into moulds to create a terrazzo effect.
Due to this product being made with recycled pieces of salvaged jesmonite, the colours and sizes of crumbs will be vary coaster to coaster so will look different to the images shown.
My furniture knob handles are made with a special marble effect jesmonite which I cast in a specially made mould. Each terrazzo style knob hanle is given an acid etch bath to clean their surface of dust and debris and sanded to a smooth stone-like finish. The knob handles are then given a coat of stain resistant penetrating sealer.
Each knob handle measures approx. 3.2cm (diam) x 2.4 cm (depth).
Sold individually and hardware included for installing.
