Commission a food portrait painting of a favourite ingredient of your choice!

Your bespoke painting will be around A5 in size (sometimes squared off depending on the shape of the ingredient in question!) and painted with oil paints on plywood by Glasgow-based artist David McDiarmid. The painting will come in mounted in a specially-made frame colour-matched to your painting.

Your bespoke painting will be around A5 in size (sometimes squared off depending on the shape of the ingredient in question!) and painted with oil paints on plywood by Glasgow-based artist David McDiarmid. The painting will come in mounted in a specially-made frame colour-matched to your painting.

The frames are handmade with jesmonite - an eco-friendly two-part casting material - and sanded and polished to give the surface a shiny, marble-like finish.

The frame dimensions will be either 175mm (h) x 245mm (w) x 10mm (d) or c. 150mm (h) x 150mm (w) x 10mm (d) if the paining has been squared off.
